Eyes burning green like hell-flame he stares out across his valley from his ornate balcony. Magnificent and regal and loved by his people, a cat of many admirable traits. When the sun sets he retires from his daily tasks to his chambers where he sits in deep contemplation, meditating on his past adventures, friends and foes.

Is it really all better from here? Has he really made it out of the flames of evil and into an era of peace? Or is there still treachery lurking underneath the dark corners of his beautiful realm...

"What is it that troubles you m'lord?
I can see it in your eyes and your cross brow. You have not slept well this winter, " the mirror cries to him.

"Why must you ask questions to which you already know the answer to?" He retorts. "Though there is peace I cannot shake this feeling of unrest, that danger is near creeping and awaiting it's opportunity to strike"

"Such is the way of life. As long as you breath you will have something on the horizon to worry about. "

"Then what is my purpose? Why even after all my struggles and victories do I feel as though my mission is not fulfilled? When will I have rest"

"Only when you've found another soul, worthy enough for you to pass on your noble quest to. Evil is not alive, therefore it cannot die. It can only be resisted by those who chose to dedicate their lives to the greater good."

The mirror fades to black, and Lord Vinci is met with his own reflection.
